What Our Clinics Provide
All of our sleep disorder center locations offer care for pediatric sleep disorders as well as adult sleep disorders. Each of our clinics is led by medical director Dr Mayank Shukla, and each one provides treatments that get to the root of your sleep disorder. We believe in giving you long-term solutions rather than easy fixes. At our sleep clinic, we take the time to get to know you and your situation to provide you with a treatment ideal for your particular needs.
Our sleep disorder center offers you treatment for a range of conditions that affect your sleep including the following:
- Restless leg syndrome (RLS)
- Sleep apnea
- ADHD Related to Sleep Disorders
- Depression Related to Sleep Disorders
- Anxiety Related to Sleep Disorders
Diagnostics Our Sleep Disorder Center Provides
At our sleep clinic, we use accurate diagnostics to identify your sleep disorder and quickly begin the treatment process. This portion of our treatment always begins with our sleep doctor gathering information about your medical history. Then, one of our sleep specialists will ask you information regarding any issues you experience that could be related to a sleep disorder such as daytime sleepiness, confusion, headaches, or memory problems. We’ll talk about your sleep patterns and lifestyle habits.
The next part of our diagnostic process may consist of a sleep doctor ordering blood work and possibly a sleep study.
Treatments Our Sleep Disorder Center Provides
Whether you see our medical director Dr Shukla or one of our other sleep specialists, you may receive a CPAP or BiPAP device. You sleep with either a mask or nasal pillows on your face that is connected to tubing and then the device that pushes air through your airway. The forced air keeps the airways open, so you don’t have pauses in your breathing while you sleep as a result of sleep apnea.
We might use lifestyle advice or recommend a safe, non-habit forming sleep aid. We even offer this option to help with pediatric sleep problems.
